Transfer Pricing
Global transfer pricing is all about understanding your business and the value drivers of your industry in an ever-changing environment.
Manama. Bahrain-based audit and advisory firm Grant Thornton Abdulaal has announced its support for On Startups – a guidebook for would-be entrepreneurs.
The book has been published and released in the Bahrain market and the 42 contributing authors of On Startups come from different professional backgrounds and entrepreneurial activities.
It is the first collaborative on start-ups book in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Ali Abbas Salman, who is leading the owner-managed businesses service line in the firm, is one of the co-authors, where he covered the area of accounting and finance for start-ups.
“It is a privilege for me to be one of the co-authors in this amazing initiative along with diverse group of entrepreneurs and professionals. On Startups serve as a single resource covering most of the areas that new entrepreneurs will need to jumpstart their new business,” he said.
Talking about the company’s support for the publication, Grant Thornton Abdulaal managing partner Jassim Abdulaal said, “Grant Thornton has been supporting dynamic businesses to grow for over 100 years, having advised a wide range of regional businesses to develop from start-ups to emerging and innovative businesses, who today are making a wider impact across GCC.
“We are so proud to have Ali Abbas Salman, one of our promising future leaders, contributing in this book touching upon accounting and finance, an area often neglected by start-ups.”
Jatin Karia, the firm’s senior partner said, supporting the initiative is part of Grant Thornton Abdulaal’s strategy to contribute towards the growth of star-ups and entrepreneurial culture in Bahrain.
Mr. Karia said it is also aspires to be a key player in the promising market segment.
Mohamed Isa, the lead author and initiator of the On Startups idea said the purpose of the book is to “provide the readers with roadmap to business success”.
